History

Discussions to create a European Network of American Alumni Associations first started in the Summer of 2010. The organization was officially founded in Paris in December 2011.

Membership is open to all alumni associations that are recognized by the U.S. State Department. Members profit from the resourceful U.S. Exchange Alumni Community in Europe.

The U.S. Exchange Alumni Community refers to the 1+ million alumni from the United States and 193+ countries who have successfully completed any of the 417 U.S. government-sponsored educational exchange programs.

In addition, the U.S. Exchange Alumni Community refers to the 300+ National Alumni Associations that represent the heart and soul of the Community.

49 Commissions and Partner

Finally, the U.S. Exchange Alumni Community refers to the 49 Fulbright Commissions and Implementing Partner Organizations that keep all U.S. Exchange Programs running smoothly.
